They say the CTP are on their way out. Do you agree, Halil?

depends , how we can get on with Cyprus talks ......

they lost a lot of credits from economical problems . by the way my vote will be for CTP and Talat at next election .

For me economical problems comes seconed . For me how they stand for solution of the Cyprus problem comes first .

Talat and CTP promised a lot but have delivered nothing so far. In fact they made a lot of things worse than what they were before. Talat knows that he has lost the confidence of the TCs. He wants out before he is rediculed any further and will have no choice but to resign disgraced.

It is just a naughty thought, but if Talat is absolutely sure that Ankara is going to ditch him come what may, he might say "to hell with it" and return to his principles instead of acting as Turkey's puppet.

He can if he wants to Tim but I doubt that even Talat is that stupid to go down in history as the one who surrendered to a communist regime.

The thing that you have to realsie is that it's not just in Turkey's interest to want a two state solution, it's in our TCs interests as well. So anyone who even thinks about surrendering and dissolving the TRNC will be ousted by us even before Turkey gets the chance to ditch him/her.

Tim
First of all the election is for electing MP's not for the presidency,so Talat's position is not in question here.
Although his days are also counted he has few more years till the next presidential elections..

besides, what "principles" are you on about?
If he had any principles he would have resigned as soon as Turkey put pressure on him after he got elected.

Who rates the UBP's chances and whether the peace talks/referendum will have been held by the time of the elections?
