"Big Mac" The Communists Priest

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

"Big Mac" The Communists Priest

To preserve his position and to continue his activities,
Makarios was willing to sacrifice seventy per cent of the Greek Cypriot
population (only thirty per cent were AKEL) and entire anti-Communist
Turkish Cypriot population
. Ioannides asserted Greek Cypriots in
National Guard realized these facts and had begged motherland for
chance to act against Makarios; General claimed that he only assisted
after being presented with a fait accompli.

I can't undestand why anyone would defend some false priest who was very selfish and had only his own interests at heart and was even very willing to sucrifice 70% of his own people just so that he can preserve his position. The only safe people on the island were the bloody communists.

Anyone in their right minds would condemn such a false religious and selfish man to hell.

Which page of the PDF is the quote?

There's 400 pages in that report so don't expect people to read the whole thing!

I though you are an IT expert GR?

You could have done a search and saved your time asking.

But anyway, it's on page 48, right at the top.

I had no idea the thread was for me specifically... I've already found it.

 It's the opinion of the Greek dictator who is currently still rotting in jail... (very funny actually)

General Ioannides stated that everyone should forget
that Makarios was an international figure, that he was a national hero,
that he had served several useful functions and that he was a man of
the cloth; Makarios had become a rotten priest homosexual; he was
perverted, a torturer, a sexual deviate and the owner of half the hotels
on the island. To preserve his position and to continue his activities,
Makarios was willing to sacrifice seventy per cent of the Greek Cypriot
population (only thirty per cent were AKEL) and entire anti-Communist
Turkish Cypriot population. Ioannides asserted Greek Cypriots in

No, it's not specifically but you are the only one I know who boasts about being an IT expert and as it turned out, the first one to ask instead of searching for it.

I guess I've ruined your "brilliant discovery" so the only thing left for you now was to attack me personally... Image

What about those who turned against him and wanted him dead, did they not have the same opinion as Ioannides?

Oh ... This is Ioannides' opinon. Thanks for clarifying that and saving me the trouble of scanning through this document to find out.

They do say that 90% of what you find on the internet is rubbish and a lot of the references given on this forum to justify an opinion just prove the point.
