Ha ha it was yes!

Have you had any enquiries yet??

Another thing, do you know anyone who runs either a restaurant, car hire, tours/activities/excursion company in Paphos? I have a site where tourists get discount and looking for businesses to advertise with. It's free to advertise, no catches, but they need to offer 10% discount to our customers.

It's all good aint it!

Retirement

Dude, if you are asking questions like that, you are looking to take a fall. The entire Kamares village is such a place, run by the Leptos mafiosa, inhabited by supposedly intelligent people who do not have the deeds to their property (so how intelligent is that?), who have an "action group" set up by the worst of the Hyacinth Bucket and Norris from Corrie types who make loads of noise, but who still can't even fix a gutter without paying Leptos. They are paying for a paramedic ambulance for a few hours a day run by an alcoholic walter mitty and a medical room run by an elderly numpty of a retired nurse with a Jilly Goolden accent who is about as much use to you when you are ill as a rich tea biscuit. I know, as I spent 24 years with the NHS. Why ever would you want to end up in a place such as that? Once you pop off, there is no house for your kids to sell as the Leptos clan will claw it back and sell it again. Muppets taken advantge of by parasites who will eventually shut the UKCA club (no bad thing - what a bunch of colonial ar$es)and leave these people without a voice at all.

Me, I'm retired, well retired, deeds to my 5 bed house, sizeable pension x 3 - military, NHS and my wife's 30 year civil service pension, and live in a place where I can keep myself to myself. Had a little trouble with the neighbours to start - tried tact, the local police, the Mukhtar, and eventually my three sons who came over and sorted the matter for their old dad one night. As a result, we don't have 14 year olds throwing stones at us or four mongrel dogs attacking us in the street when we go to our car. The kids cower to a raised hand, the dogs don't like fire extinguishers. THe adults next door would rather run than speak to us and they had a glazier for a whole day. Just as I like it. I am 6'2" with my stoop, my wife is 6'1", My sons are bigger than us, and the three cannot sit comfortable in the back of my twincab due to their width.

Prior to returning to theor regiments from leave, the clan (my boys) went for a meal on the TOTK road and encountered some Eastern European idiot in a big leather coat (in May) menacing two girls by the Japanese restaurant. I understand that the naked bruised and yelping in pain wannabe gangsta dissappered into one of the hire car company's premises.

A word to the wise, retire here, be a hard man, know a hard man, have a son (s) who is a hard man, or take your chances, but if you want to get rogered buy a rental property with no deeds in a retirement village.

Leptos = Crooks. Buyers from Leptos = idiots.

You must make a wonderful neighbour, with an attitude like that - I am sure you are hugely popular. Nice to see you have made such an effort to fit in; Cyprus would be a better place with more Brits like you, moving here!
