CF 2009 Awards

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

Postby Paphitis » Fri Jan 02, 2009 2:45 pm

There is a prize for this award: a Voucher for 3 months' NHS treatment for RSI, which has kindly been donated by Talisker. He said something about, 'well, at least it keeps her out of the way' - unless I misherad him, of course :)

I knew it...

I put 2 and 2 together a long time ago....

The 'Daft Slavic Bint' award for greatest abuse of a Moderator goes to... No, I shall not bother to name him/her.

I have it on good authority that the person you talk about, is in fact a SHE... She is so bitchy after all...

The 'Take it Like a Man' award goes to Paphitis, who handled the revelation from a fellow Forum member that he and the other 40,759 members of the Forum were not 'true Cypriots', in a stoic and unflinching manner.
When asked for a reaction to this deverstating news he replied:' Pass another tinnie, Sheila...'

Russian Paphitissa,

I honestly thought that this person was paying me a compliment.

I have another nomination:

The Paphitis nominations for the CF 2009 Lingerie award are:

1) Svetlana :P
2) GR! for his sensual Victoria Secret collection.

'Most Prodigious Poster' goes to Oracle et al, for her never ending stream of high quality posts, which are full of humour, passion and words not many of us can understand.

There is a prize for this award: a Voucher for 3 months' NHS treatment for RSI, which has kindly been donated by Talisker. He said something about, 'well, at least it keeps her out of the way' - unless I misherad him, of course :-)

The 'Take it Like a Man' award goes to Paphitis, who handled the revelation from a fellow Forum member that he and the other 40,759 members of the Forum were not 'true Cypriots', in a stoic and unflinching manner.
When asked for a reaction to this devastating news he replied:' Pass another tinnie, Sheila...'

The award for the 'Most positive contribution to Religious harmony', goes to Aiden, who, in spite of being a staunch Protestant, never failed, in his posting, to make reference to Roman Catholisism and the Pope.

The award for the 'People keep telling us we have bought on stolen land, but we will tough it out on the Forum anyway' goes to Rosenachan. Shame they misunderstand the situation in Sri Lanka ;-)

The award for the 'Most balanced and fair-minded posts' goes to Talisker. Shame he misunderstands the situation in Israel ;-)

The 'Daft Slavic Bint' award for greatest abuse of a Moderator goes to... No, I shall not bother to name him/her.

Finally, the Premier Award, for the 'Best researched, informative and well written posts' which have include superb syntax and excellent parsing of sentences, goes, once again, to Svetlana.

<<Emmy Award mode on>> I would like to thank my Forum members, my Mother, my Father (whom I would love to meet), my dog and my fellow Party Members of Number 14, Tractor Assembly Co-Operative in Minsk.......Oooops, must go, the nice young man in the white coat is coming to take me for my daily basket weaving class. While I am taking my medication I would welcome further Awards to be be posted. The only Rules are:
i) You cannot nominate yourself.
[b]ii) You cannot nominate anyone who as partcipated in the 'Football' or any 'Games' thread, at any time during the year.
[/b
]

Further positive nominations for me, will be favourable viewed.

Lana (CF Moderator of the Year, 2008)

 Therefore by your own rules, Oracle, Paphitis and others are not eligible!
