'Christofias touched on Israel’s assault on Gaza, saying Israel was “pushing the limits of genocide” in murdering women and children indiscriminately.

It is good to see the president of the southern part of Cyprus say what probably the majority of Europeans agree with but whose governments seem unwilling to say for their respective peoples.

I know this is going to sound vague but on the news yesterday a spokes for the USA made a big mistake in saying "We" when referring to the bombing. "We will not stop the bombing until they stop the rockets" he said. and then stuttered his way to saying " That is to say Isreal...stutter stutter stutter"!!!!! Did any one see it and knows who the man was????

Hammas fired over 300 rockets into Israel over a period of 3 days and given warnings to stop before any show of retaliation....how long were they supposed to wait before doing anything about it? If someone came up to you and repeatedly punched you in the face, how long would it be before you picked him up and threw him through the window!!
Dont get me wrong i hate the killing of innocent civillians but civillians are bound to get caught up in it when rocket launchers are placed near to and sometimes in residential areas basically trying to use there own people as human sheilds....scandalous!!

I don't watch the news....it depresses me.
