I attend the march every year in support of my country which has part of it under the occupation of a foreign nation and I join in chanting Turkish troops out of Cyprus . I do not subscribe to the carrying and displaying of the Greek flag . The march is about letting the world know that a part of Cyprus is under foreign occupation as accepted by the International community the UN , EU etc.
It is a peaceful march and the organizers of this annual event are true Cypriots who want their island free and Turkey out .
What is of paramount importance today is the means to put an end to the division of Cyprus and to have all troops removed.
You are obsessed by the fact that the 80% of the Cypriot people back in the 50s wanted ENOSIS. I was one of those 80% , what is strange or undemocratic for the majority of citizens wanting to chart their own destiny.
With hindsight the goal of ENOSIS was wrong but the aspiration by the majority was a perfectly expressed democratic act.

Since you Mr Zan , along with VP and a few others , is so keen on selling Cyprus to Turkey why dont you go and join this third world nation and help them join the 21st century , starting with putting an end to the disgraceful and barbaric custom of honour killing , may be you can convince them that the family's honour is not located between a woman's legs !
