OK Zan ... tell us what alternatives the world prefers? Who has legitimately reneged on Democracy?

They prefer that you give back what you took by murder and deception...They prefer that you do not use the word when you have no respect for. They know what you did in 1963/74 and realise what Turkey did was in response....That is what the world wants dear Stella Maria.....

hi Zan,

mutlu yıllar

apart from the very valid points u make, do you know what GC do in the EU?

well here is the answer

What do Greek Cypriots do in the EU?

Control with prospect of using their veto
Greek Cypriots, who became EU member in 2004, focus all their energy on isolating Turkey and the Turkish Cypriots as Greece did when they became an EU member at the beginning of 1980. It seems that the Greek Cypriots have now taken over Greece’s mission. Researches by EU Cyprus file specialists reveal everything and report the efforts of Greek Cypriots in the EU as: “Greek Cypriots made nearly no contribution in the union after they became a member in 2004.Whenever Turkey and the Cyprus problem is discussed in the executive body, the European Commission and the decision-making body, the EU Council, the Greek Cypriot representatives either look at the ceiling or look at their watches, as if they are not EU members. They do not contribute in important arguments of the EU. They just deal with Turkey and Turkish Cypriots. They are not interested in anything else.” Everyone knows in Brussels that the Greek Cypriot delegation’s mission is to interrupt the Turkey-EU negotiation process and to maintain the isolations. Greek Cypriots also prevent Turkish Cypriot representatives, especially Talat and Soyer, from meeting EU officials. Besides this, Greek Cypriots work hard to prevent Turkish Cypriots being represented in the European Parliament. Those who hide behind Greek Cypriots are: France, Greece, Austria, Denmark, the religious wing and the right wing. These countries and groups use the Greek Cypriots to interrupt the Turkey-EU negotiation process. According to EU specialists the Greek Cypriots accomplish this with the collaboration of Athens behind closed doors. Greek Cypriots, who played the leading role in the EU Council’s decision against Turkey on 8 December, accomplished this via mutual blackmail with French support. An official from the EU Council, who gave information to ABNews, stated that Sweden and the United Kingdom voted for Turkey’s paragraph not to be made more strict but the Greek Cypriots threatened to use their veto on one of the paragraphs to be discussed at the International Conference to be held on 19 December. In this way, benefiting from Greece’s experience in this area and using their blackmailing policy, the Greek Cypriots caused this decision to be taken.

Greek Cypriots become the nightmare of the Turkey-EU Negotiation Process!

EU officials in Brussels stated that the Greek Cypriots have become the nightmare of the Turkey-EU negotiation process as they have begun to use the opening of the articles for negotiation, other than the ones blocked within the Ankara Protocol, as a means of blackmail. With the support of some EU members, the Greek Cypriots controlled the clauses that were to be opened for negotiation. Greek Cypriots and some of the EU members are causing a crisis between Turkey and the EU, but most EU members cannot deal with this subject because of their own problems. Brussels-based EU officials state that Greek Cypriots are trying to continue the policy started by Greece in1980 against Turkey and Cyprus. This continued until the Greek Cypriots became an EU member benefiting from experience of Athens..

Hi Paul12.

Sanada ve aylenede Kutlu ve mutlu yeni yilar olsun gardas.

This is what the whole aim of Greece and the "RoC" has been all along. They will come unstuck though mate. Greece thinks it can still pull the wool over the worlds eyes and show that it is no longer interested in Cyprus but ALL know better. Then we have people like Miltiades who is financed by Greece to try and convert TCs in the UK to his way of thinking and they all think they can fool us....Their panic now is that when the veto is abolished in the EU they will just be little fish in a big sea.....France is playing a dangerous game and will be shown for what it is by the USA....

At least in Cyprus , there exists appropriate channels for obtaining your democratic rights , does it also exist in the occupied part of Cyprus , or may be it exists in Turkey !!!

That's the way to do it Miltiades..Look the other way...Then again why change the habit of a life time...16 years of marching under the Greek flag and only last year you decide you had enough.....they do discourage against training old dogs though!!!

For the umpteenth time may I just make clear again for you Plonker.
You can use the Greek flag to wipe your arse as far as I'm concerned , its no shit of my arse , and you can do the same for the Turkish flag.

You have no right to be speaking about the Greek Flag in such a way.

That flag still has special meaning to our Ethnos. You don't care about it because you have already sold out and become a Turkish, Anglo American Zionist.

Oracle wrote:In the UK you now have to go on the Council Electoral Register, and then also provide valid ID which is all as much of a nuisance, but how else are countries supposed to keep tags on something as important as One Man-One vote?

Even then, I had a German student once who was still registered with the council he previously resided in, could vote there, and had somehow rigged it to vote in the home council elections too! ...

(I think he was Turkish-influenced  )

Good on Cyprus for trying to minimise such fraudulent activities ...

I don't know what the issue is. Image

It is standard practice to be required to either provide a valid ID card, passport or Birth Certificate in order to register on the electoral roll.
