More rain and snow on the way!

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

Poor purdey :( Get your hot water bottle out and cuddle into Mrs purdey for warmth!)

My cold is still lingering (I am now on anti-biotics) but I did find that brandy and hot orange helped - especially after the first two or three!

Brits talk about the weather as opposed to how much each other earns.

Pretty closely followed by the Cypriots :)
All I ever hear about in the Kafeneon is talk about the weather, will it or wont it rain, will it be enough :?:
Even the village priest, the Holiest man I've ever met now talks of nothing but rain eclipsing his former preoccupation with Arsenal's performance 8)

You may not have heard, but Cyprus has been in the grip of a drought and unless we have a wet winter this year, we will face a serious crisis next summer.

Some people have not had any water cuts and therefore may not realise the extent of the problem. I am not saying that O has not experienced any cuts (as we in Limassol have since March), but many out there have not! Lucky things is all I can say. Let us hope that 2009 brings Cyprus excess rain and no more cuts - Please. This is after all the 21st Century!
