I admit I know little about this but am I the only one who thinks the last paragraph doesn;t make any sense mathematically?

Khojali genocide condemned in Northern Cyprus
30.12.08 13:44

Azerbaijanis and Turkish people in the Northern Cyprus condemned the genocide committed by Armenians against Azerbaijani nation in Khojali city, the Turkish Hurriyet newspaper wrote.

MPs and representatives of the Northern Cyprus intelligentsia, participating in the event organized on occasion of the Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis, stressed that so far, the world community has not given a true assessment to Khojali genocide. Azerbaijan – North Cyprus Friendly Community has organized this event.

On the night of 25 to 26 February 1992 the Azerbaijani settlement of Nagorno-Karabakh, Khojali, was occupied by Armenian separatists.

In a matter of several hours, more than 600 unarmed Azerbaijani citizens, including 106 women, 63 children and 70 adults were brutally killed. Eight families were fully destroyed, 25 children lost both parents, 130 – one parent, 487 people were wounded and 150 were missing.

If by 70 adults they mean 70 men, since they differentiated the women as being 106 (sub-total 70 + 106 = 176), with the addition of 63 children ... I make that 239 killed in total.

Are these figure-fudging fellows, affiliated to our forum friends

So what is your breakdown of the figures to reach the final (inflated?) sum total?

Don't bother replying if you also can't make sense of the figures Zan ... either post the meaningful breakdown or leave it to someone who knows how these figures came to have such a discrepancy.

Either way, it is appears like someone is trying to justify calling it a Genocide.

I love it when you revisit your stupidity....
Armenian millitary forces commited genocides in the town of Khojaly with the population of 7 thousand people on februrary 26 1992. There were 3 thousand people in the town at the time of Armenian millitary forces' attack. As most part of the population had to leave town during 4 months blockade. 613 people were killed, 1000 peaceful people of different age became invalid during Khojaly genocide. 106 women, 63 children, 70 old men were killed. 8 families were completely annihilated, 130 children lost one parents, while 25 both of them. 1275 peace residents were taken hostages, the fate of 150 of them is still unknown.

I bought a dozen eggs the other day and dropped them in the car park....Two where completely broken and twelve were damaged. Five had just one side damaged whilst ten were damaged on all sides. All went into an omelet...
