How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Yes, if you close your eyes to the realities, they start to seem pathetic to you. Majority of GC below 30 years are so fanatic against anything turkish. You tell them "hi" and some of them just ignore you. You can not find TC like this including me. Anyway, goon sleeping, have sweet dreams!!!

Since you are in London, just go and visit the Cypriot communities in this city. Go and see how TCs and GCs share the same clubs, coffee shops and elderly people houses. Play cards and bagamon together, Play in the same Cypriot football teams in London, work in each other's business, etc, etc, etc.

Certainly, if the other GC students in your university realised that you have a problem being a Cypriot or that you do not consider them to be your compatriots, as it is more than evident from your postings in this forum, then I am not surprised they avoid you. You should re-examine what you have said or how you behaved while in that university and I am sure you will find your answers somewhere there.

What you say might be right for elderly people

I think you read my posters with "selections", I especially said problems are much less with greek people when compared to GC.

Me and other TC can not even start to communicate with GC although I have good relations with greek people. Anyway, if you dont already accept that majority of young GC are real fanatics, I dont think that I can persuade you. I have had enough relations with greek people in general; this shows that I can be approached at least.

This DETALIER talks so much rubbish. If so many many young GC are 'fanatics' as you put it...then why do so many have good friends as TC???? Your tryin got paint a very false picture of relationships between GC and TC in London........seems like another separatist tactic.

What is a fanatic to you, someone who cares about there homeland???

and you STILL havent given me details (Mr Detailer) of this aparent annual march through Palmers Green by GC.

Murtaza,

There were times people were living in harmony in Cyprus. Even I heard it from even fanatic TC. That was true once for Istanbul and Tesaloniki as well. No one says Greece adn Turkey should be united then!!!That is a exagerated anology, I accept but we can not say that we are "one nation" now just because once we were living in peace once

The problem is today it is not like that. Yes, you can hear some nice stories going in London but you can hear many TC who become fanatics after they come to London!!! because of GC behaviour.

Only two months ago, a massive rally of about 2,000 TC youth and 3,500 GC youth have organised a common trip on Troodos mountains (some 120 buses altogether and many private cars,) made a demonstration together against the British radar base on that mountain and then all together went to the Platania camping area in the nearby forest and organised a festival with food, music, dancing, etc.

They were all mixed together and you could not tell who was a TC and who was a TC. Then at the end of the day they were loaded (mixed up) in their buses and they all return back without anyone getting killed or hurt.

This was not the only one common youth festival, but simply the most recent I can recall since 23rd April 2003.
