GAMBIA: “WE WILL RECOGNIZE THE TRNC”

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Lol I figured that in the flags list, there is this old flag of Republic of Macedonia. This flag was one of the reasons which made Greeks totally crazy about the Macedonian independence. They both demanded the change of the official name and the flag. Both had eventually been changed, but this flag is still in the list!

As you can see, I am now sporting the former flag of Iraq, complete with Arabic script written in the lovely handwriting of Saddam Hussein. This flag is now illegal too...

I promise I'll end my little student protest on Monday, but it does have a purpose in highlighting the hypocrisy of banning a flag because it is 'illegal'. I've also decided to abandon my moose avatar and replace it with a nice pic of Che Guevara... always saw myself as a bit of a revolutionary freedom fighter...

Wait a second. If TRNC flag is illegal, why do we have a representation office with a TRNC flag in Bedford Square?

The "TRNC" office in the U.K. is registred as a limited company (LTD) under British Law and the "TRNC" flag as one of it's trade marks. Nothing to do with diplomatic representation.
