The only book I've managed to read in a day, so far over this holiday, has been "The Burial at Thebes" (Sophocles' Antigone) translated by Seamus Heaney (it's short ). You can probably get through it easily in Greek. Antigone fills you with pride for standing up to a stupid rule, so she is very "modern". The others I'm reading are for various projects so are heavy going.
To tempt you away from the Internet, magazines are a good start, like Cosmopolitan, and you can still listen to music.
But there are lots of good novels for young people, about shopping and relationships. Sophie Kinsella is good, easy and fun. Here is her website ....
