It was the UK, USA, CIA, OIC, T, TC, FBI, The men form Mars and the Federation of Universe Against Greeks and GCs who started the war to divide Cyprus, Greeks/GCs are completely innocent and their wish for enosis had nothing to do with the Cyprus Problem AT ALL.

I gather you are a Professor. I hope you have read the book Democracy at Gunpoint by Andreas Papandreu. He says:

"…Incidents followed, until we were at the brink of war. Makarios visited Athens in early April (1964). He and my father, who was handling personally all the aspects of the Cyprus problem, reached complete agreement…This was my father’s proposal, and Makarios accepted it. A clandestine operation then began on a huge scale of nightly shipments of arms and troops, of ‘volunteers’ who arrived in Cyprus in civilian clothes and then joined their ‘Cypriot’ units. The process was not completed until the middle of the summer. No less than 20,000 officers and men, fully equipped, were shipped to Cyprus."

I would avoid reading books by unauthorized individuals if I were you and start concentrating on UN and British reports if you really want the facts regarding (1) how many Greek troops arrived, (2) when and why did they arrive, (3) what happened then, etc.

The 20,000 figure is enough to tell me that this fellow hasn't done his homework.
When it comes to facts and figures, any author who does NOT cite his credible sources, is not worth reading.

The Greek contingent you mention which numbered between 10-12,000 arrived on Cyprus early in 1964 due to the Kofinou incidents when TCs (TMT) decided to hijack the Nicosia-Limassol highway, and even managed to kill a couple of UN personnel during one of those incidents. The end result was around 25 TCs dead and 17 Greeks dead. The UN was pissed off especially at losing personnel so the Greek contingent was soon replaced by a UN force of 6,500 troops (UNPKFC) in May 1964, as a result of UN resolution 186 (March 1964), being adopted…
