Advice for a new brit in cypus

hi, i'm moving to cyprus within days, i have job in nicosia but want to live in larnaca, its all new to me, how do i meet new friends as it will be lonely at first, are there any good dating sites there also as i would love to meet a nice lady one day, but for now any advice would be appreciated, i'm a divorced guy from england, but hope to fall in love with cyprus and stay

You've got a good positive attitude and I don't think you'll be lonely for long.

CBBB and psycho are footloose and fancy free and organise Forum Piss-ups (in Nicosia) .... so there's two fun-filled UK guys you can hang out with for a bit until Aphrodite sweeps you off your feet. :D

The second guy is called "CBBB" not footloose (but that's a cool alias :lol: ) .... which is what they both are (Psycho and CBBB) both footloose and fancy free (I think) ..... I'm sure they'll see your thread when they turn up later and invite you ... but they also start threads or add to this one below, for when they meet ...

Dont forget the Strip Clubs, the Racism, getting ripped off left right and bloddy centre, ppl looking like they have been sucking on a load of lemons for 3 days, ppl in General are very backwards but modern in materials so you will have all you need to surive. What is it you do for a living mate??

Oh and be very very careful who you make friends with, just keep your guard up.. Believe me I've been there done it and will never ever forget.
