George W Bush : Famous quotes

Postby miltiades » Fri Dec 26, 2008 5:36 pm

With less than a month to go to the inauguration of the new president of the USA I thought I post some of the ..classic quotes by G.W.Bush.

My pro-life position is I believe there's life. Its not necessarily based in religion . I think there's a life there, therefore the notion of life, liberty and pursuit of happiness.

Here is another:
I dont know what he means but I disagree with him

Another:
We are concerned about AIDS inside our White House- make no mistake about it

Another dealing with fish quotas:
I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully !!

Here he expresses his support of the military:
I do think we need for a troop to be able to house his family. That's an important part of building morale in the military.
Commenting on his first budget:

It's clearly a budget .It's got a lot of numbers in it. Im mot worried about the deficit. It is big enough to take care of itself

And finally on Obama winning the election:

I'm mindful not only of preserving executive powers for the new President but for his predecessors as well.

Here you have it , the man was a genius

Is Miltiades trying to distance himself from the US, by now finally, Bush-bashing ... so that it does not come as too much of a shock (perchance, appear anti-black) when he embarks on Obama-objurgating?

I know you are just trying to ingratiate yourself with me dear, after falling foul ... but you have to be a little more subtle than this

We have had enough Bush-isms already

My favourites:

Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we." —Washington, D.C., Aug. 5, 2004

They misunderestimated me." —Bentonville, Ark., Nov. 6, 2000

There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again." —Nashville, Tenn., Sept. 17, 2002
