CYPRUS AIRPORT SERVICES STARTS FORMALLY PROVIDING GROUND SERVICES AT ERCAN AIRPORT
New steps are being taken to improve the quality of services being provided at Ercan Airport in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

The Cyprus Airport Services Limited (CAS) has formally started providing ground services at Ercan Airport.

This was announced at a press conference in Kyrenia which attracted great interest from local and Turkish media.

In an address at the reception, the Director of HAVAS – Mujdat Yucel said the CAS is one of the most important partnership in the history of HAVAS – the leading Turkish company on ground services. For his part, the Director of the Cyprus Turkish Airlines Ahmet Akpinar pointed out that the TRNC has been going through a speedy and structural change in line with its new vision and that there has been an important increase in the number of flights to Turkey and other countries as a result of this change.

Also speaking at the reception, the Cyprus Airport Services Director in the TRNC Ibrahim Nazmi Torun said that CAS would provide ground services in line with world standards.

He noted that CAS would work hard to meet the need of increasing number of flights and passengers.
