sure. they buy a house for 450,000, then they sell it back for less, lets say 400,000 and then they walk into a Swiss Bank with a certificate saying they sold their house in Cyprus for that amount. The developer is left with a nice 50,000 profit and maybe the russian mafiozo's furniture! Come on you live in Cyprus! They accuse casinos for money laundering but have one thing in mind. Casinos do NOT give proof of profits or losses! Developers do give receipts..... catch my drift?

The RECEIPT!!! He will use it to prove his money, the remainder of 400,000 E is CLEAN!!! This receipt cost him 50,000 in the above example.... but the money he could not have as "clean" before, now he has!

Fanos, a GC who lives in occupied Cyprus, who has stolen charity money that was heading for a cancer fund and is now promoting a turkish casino is talking to us about money laundering.

Whats next? george W Bush is going to decide the criteria for joining Mensa?

And how about the provenance of the original money to buy the house in the first place? Remember that little form you have to sign at the bank when cashing a money transfer? The one that declares that the money is not from illegal activity?

You need to study the subject more carefully and realise why casinos remain the method of choice.
