However this incident has absolutely nothing to do with the Cyprus problem.

What has to do with the Cyprus problem, is the fact that some TCs/Turks are using some irrelevant event that could happen in every other country as an excuse for their own racism against hundreds of thousands of innocent people.

I disagree with you that this incident is not related to Cyprus problem because these racist thugs show identical racial aggression towards TC's also and what makes it worse is that your administration do not do much in the way of punishing them.

Racists exists everywhere and they have always existed. It is not a problem that can be totally solved.

If you support the human rights violations of 100s of thousands of innocent people using such incidents as an excuse, then you are a racist yourself.

You know damn well i don't support human rights violation of ANY Cypriot and i am not afraid of condoning this violation at every opportunity.
I only wish you did the same...then we might get somewhere..

Then tell me how is this thread related to the Cyprus Problem, other than some racist trying to use some incident as an excuse for their racist actions against 100s of thousands of innocent people.

You GCs are missing the point here, your excuses are pitiful, this incident backs up our fears about the protection we would get in a united Cyprus where the "majority" GCs have to deal with these cases against TCs. Not one of youhave come forward and acknowledged that this is a reality and that we should address and eradicate this problem with a mixed police force that will take these incidents seriously and act swiftly rather than continue to make the mistakes you all see to support ignore it it will go away, we are not racists, everyone else has these problems so that makes it right....really you GCs sound really pathetic.

What arguments should I refute? The 300+ year old stories that you keep repeating like a broken record?

How does it feel to be 300+ years old by the way?

in a perfect world none of this would happen anywhere but im sure it happens more in turkey and in the north of cyprus then it does here in the south

Oh you poor pathetic little teenager straight out of a Jane Austen novel, who would swoon at the sound of a raised voice from a GC!

How do you cope with 40,000 vulgar, uncouth, dirty loudmouth Turkish soldiers rampaging through the north, ready to drag you away, never to be seen again!

BTW ... I am still waiting to hear what happened to those two Dutch tourists that were last seen in the hands of your police some months ago ....

A teenager gets beaten up by a bunch of other teenagers at the end of a sporting event… something that happens often all over the world even with adults only this time the teenager happens to be black unlike her attackers. A great “racism” story…

I never said the act is ok, but some lowlifes in here are trying to peddle the incident as a purely "racist" affair when it should've taken place PRIOR to the game even starting had it been a clear racist act, besides why should racists wait for the end of a game to beat up a black kid?

i am ashamed to say that racists exist in Cyprus. as a Cypriot I condem these acts of Intolernce. labelling the proponents "Greeks" and/or "Turks" in my mind is just as ignorant and it is wrong. it cannot be justified, nor should we generalise; doing so only promotes the efforts of those who wish to see that our subjugation is a benefit to them.

this type of self serving violence is as bad as racism, if it is a (merely) a case of hooliganism.

denial is not suitable behaviour, nor is the deflection of our faults.
