Seasons greetings to all. Grouse, great shooting on a very fast bird. I have 2 days booked every year on Alston Moor Nr Penrith. I would love to shoot more but at £75 per brace plus vat I tend to stay clear and hope for a few invites.
Novus handgun hunting in most areas of europe is banned, however I do take the rifle out for the odd stag, boar and fox. I went woodcock shooting yesterday in Ireland, what a fantastic day, great hosts, three American guests who were a hoot. Big local shoot tomorrow 400 bird day, with duck flighting in the evening.
