You talk about using correct names...well there is no such country as Macedonia first of all. Its FYROM or should be Skopje. Macedonia is a northern region in Greece.

For me and many people, Smyrna will always be Smyrna...as will Constantinoupoli...and Agia Sophia is a Greek church however many minarets you stick on to it.

Whatever you say, Smyrna was burnt to the ground by the Turks and any Greeks there were either burnt to death, or ethnically cleansed. They were not soldiers and were murdered. I havent even mentioned the genocide of the Armenians yet either!

Everyone in the world except you calls that country Macedonia including your brothers Serbia :) A country's name will not be changed just because you are not happy with it. Call them Former Yugoslav Rep. of Macedonia to complicate your lives but it is Makedonija for the rest of the world.

Yes call Izmir Smyrna and Istanbul Constan... whatever. You can call them anything. You know very well that they are Turkish cities. I don't need to remind you the magical number of 1453 I guess.

Don't forget to mention massacres of Armenian gangs killings of Turks and Azeris in Anatolia and Azerbaijan. I wonder if they helped the killings of TCs in Cyprus as well.

That's where you are wrong mate, 108 countries recognise it as Macedonia and there's nothing you can do about it.

Only for the brainwashed Greeks, for the rest it's Istanbul.

Why the hell would the Turks burn their own cities? It was the retreating Greeks who burned Izmir and killed the inhabiatants. You can tell lies but you can't change history.

Don't forget to mention how many Turks and Kurds were murdered by the Armenians though, will you!

If the Ottoman empire was something different than Turkey as you claim then all the land comprising the ottoman empire could be claimed by any other country. Therefore Greece did not invade turkish land but ottoman land which was primarily populated by Greeks (Smyrna, etc.). All those people were either murdered or expelled by force (ethnic cleansing). As long as the muslim minority of Greece is concerned they are greek nationals. If they want to become Turks they can immigrate to Turkey.

War of independence against imperial powers and their supporters UK,France,Italy,Greece. Modern Turkey is found after this war of independence.Learn some history first.

You wish Turks in Western Thrace and Cyprus leave their homelands. I don't want to disappoint you but that will never happen. You don't get the point at all do you? People can be Greek nationals but their ethnic origins may be different as in the case with Turks in Thrace. They are as Turk as the ones in Kosova,Macedonia,Bulgaria and they deserve the same rights. Greece has a lot of things to learn from those countries that they look down at.

I am interested to know what rights do you wish? :?

Turkey is a guarantor in Cyprus. If TCs were not killed by GCs and you didn't dream of ENOSIS which was a stupid idea, you would live in your house. Blame your people for the inconvenience.

Greece should recognize the minority in W. Thrace as Turks to begin with...... Then I'll list you the other rights.

Turks are not represented in your country so it is obvious it won't be recognized.

I want Turks in W. Thrace to be called Turks in Greece. Follow the example of other Balkan countries.
