ELIZABETH CHRISTOFIAS VISITED GREEK CYPRIOT SCHOOLS IN KARPAZ
The wife of the Greek Cypriot Leader Demetris Christofias- Elizabeth Christofias- was in the Karpaz region today.
Ms Christofias, accompanied by a delegation from AKEL’s executive board and women’s branch, came together with Greek Cypriots living in Karpaz.
As part of her new year trip in the region, Ms Christofias visited the Greek Cypriot Primary School and the Secondary School.
Welcoming the guests, the Principal of the Greek Cypriot Secondary School- Lukia Lisandru said Greek Cypriots have been living with Turkish Cypriots in Karpaz without facing any difficulties.
And Elizabeth Christofias for her turn said she was paying the visit on behalf of Mr Christofias and that she was pleased to do so.
Ms Christofias then gave gifts to students where she was also given a memorial gift by the School.
During the visit, students also sent the message of peace with a new year song
