When will the GCs have the balls to take action?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

We are not worried GR, mama is always there to help out.

If you are waiting for to surrender to you Greeks and GCs, you will be joining the others who are still waiting in the after life.

May I suggest that you look around you , in the "trnc" and try counting the T/Cs , most of whom are already fed up with the occupying troops , or perhaps you may care to read AFRICA , or even some of the graffiti appearing on the walls. Let me tell you something mate , most Turkish Cypriots want NOTHING what so ever to do with the settlers , parents of boys and girls are issuing instructions not to bring one of "those" home .
Those of you who have chosen Turkey as your motherland ( this applies equally to those that chose Greece) ought to do the decent thing and go join your respective nations.

You lot keep coming up with claims of this and that but what about "credible evidence"? Have you done a survey in the TRNC to count yourself as qualified to be able to claim yourself as "credible evidence"?

VP , having balls sometimes leads a nation into disaster , having brains accompanied by political acumen , international recognition , alliances with influential nations , Russia for one with her many thousands of subjects living in the ROC , the EU membership , all these are ingredients that eventually when blended together produce the required result,

Yes, I am sure the GCs love all those Russians in the south.

and that is Turkey out of Cyprus accompanied by all who consider her as their motherland.

Turkey out, Greece to stay, very nice.

LONG LIVE THE REAL CYPRUS .

Do us a favour "mate", when you find the "REAL CYPRUS" you are so desperately searching for, where the TCs are PARTNERS and the Turkish LANGUAGE is not FORBIDDEN, come back and tell us, ok?

The Turkish Language is very much alive and well in the RoC.

I think you are confusing the RoC with the "trnc", which has banned Greek Studies everywhere, not to mention the whole sole destruction of our 10,000 year old heritage.

Thank god you are not part of or resident in the TRNC, as you say the internal problems of the TRNC are no concerns of yours...why are you trying to preach to us? Is it because you care about us so much?

You will not need to worry about Cyprus so much and her threat to veto the opening of Turkey's EU Energy chapter. The country you should be worried about is The United States of America, who has as her fundamental interest to get your sorry arses into the EU ASAP. Soon, the USA is going to bury their foot deep up Turkey's bum, and lambast you lot for your ever so slow and pathetic progress with meeting Western and EU norms, in order to meet EU standards.

The reason why The US wants to get you lot into the EU, is because as an EU member, the US will be better able to ensure your nation does not depart from its secularist course, and turn towards Islamic Fundamentalism, a perceived threat to the west. So far the US has been able to achieve this through the Kemalist Generals. But even the US knows that this can never be permanent unless Turkey becomes an EU member, and the living standards improve substantially towards European standards. So if you think that the US is going to allow you to maintain the current policies on Cyprus and thus keep you as an EU outcast, then I am afraid you should think again. The US is only interested in keeping Turkey under control and in check, as they consider you to be of vital strategic importance. Do not think that the US is going to waste her time with your ridiculous demands, when this is getting in the way of critical strategic interests. Prepare yourselves for some very big surprises in the near future.
:)

So Miltiades what would you call people who talk big and do nothing to back up their rantings? Throw out empty threats and do nothing? People who have no back bone to take the actions they threaten to take? What do you call these people?

As for TCs dissappearing in the north we prefer this to being forced to live in a GC state under GCs as foreigners, why is this so difficult for you to understand?

As for the effectiveness of each side, the RoC has done a LOT better in defeat than the TRNC and Turkey have done in victory. If this is the way you manage a military victory then you need to reexamine your management approach.

You are making the mistake of thinking you will evade the deadly embrace of your "motherland". You are fooling yourself. You have been trapped for 35 years. GCs woke up and escaped, at a heavy price, but now they are free. A few more years and it will be too late for you even if you are willing to pay the price. You wil all be gone.

It is depressing to read posts of people who rejoice in their own extinction as you and some others do.

Good luck to you, you made the best of what you stole from us, recognition we only have one ally which is Turkey their embrace is far better than the GCs strangle hold, division has brought both sides all they want and deserve.
