lets see if he has the balls, once his advisers give him the full story of how it will effect their relations with turkey and this part of the world Obama will back peddle and leave this thorny issue on the shelf and in the dark for a good many years.

Ah, because the very thought of falling out of the good graces of Turkey would cause him such immense psychological trauma.

Obama does need to prove himself; i.e. if he's willing to do the right thing in the face of political expediency. But it seems that some folks in Turkey really think that the US "needs" them. Keep telling yourselves that...
