YOU CALL YOURSELF TURKS AND GREEKS

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

YOU CALL YOURSELF TURKS AND GREEKS

Postby free_cyprus » Sun Dec 14, 2008 9:06 pm

In 1990 samples from 116 Turkish Cypriot, 303 Greek Cypriot, 235 mainland turks and 174 mainland greeks were tested in the US by professor Huisman.

Genetic illness and DNA expert Dr. Erol Baysal with the assistance of english, turkish, cypriot and greek experts conducted the work, and found that the Turkish Cypriot and Greek Cypriot DNA was very close.

Even though the Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot see the mainland as there genetic source they are very far apart and also very different and that certain codes in the DNA which can only be found in cypriots was conclusive proof that Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot were the only ones that have this DNA.

Even though it was always assumed that Turkish Cypriot and Greek Cypriot were close this showed they were much closer than could be anticipated.

If the reason you do not want to say is because this is the infamous thalassaemia sequences that were pre-selected then you are wasting every-one's time!

Greeks, Turks, GCs and TCs are all one and the same genetically ... if you want to assign races ... move down to bacteria!

you are the only one who mentioned the saga of thalassaemia iam talkign about scientific proof

angerous waters.
The Greek Cypriot Mayor of Nicosia Zambelas said that Turkish Cypriots and Greek Cypriots had matching DNA. He even went so far as to claim that Greek Cypriot DNA was far from matching that of mainland Greeks…and Turkish Cypriot DNA is far from matching that of mainland Turks.

That study failed to take into account convergent evolution where two disparate mutations tend towards the same, because of similar environmental pressure.

It is meaningless to try and draw conclusions about relatedness from one gene (which is heavily influenced by environment) but in 1992 they did not have the capability to do larger studies which are now proving that individuals have greater differences than pools of people.

If you look at the >30,000 or so genes which control man, let alone the vast amounts of junk DNA that make up the bulk of our chromosomes, you can find data to say anything you want, if you want to politicise our make-up and do not look at our genome as a WHOLE!

On the basis of one gene you have formed possibly three new groups of people. Greeks, Turks and "Cypriots". And a MUTATED gene at that!

Do you realise you are the stuff that makes for brotherhood with Hitler and Eugenicists?

So if those Greeks and Turks or Germans turned around and said "Those Cypriots are inferior because they have a mutated gene, different from ours, and more related to Chimps than our equivalent gene, and so for the healthy future stock of Humanity they should be exterminated" .... then you have your ignorance to thank, because that is precisely akin to what you are accepting and proposing!

But I don't expect you are man enough to concede to ignorance on this matter or admit to mistakenly rushing in without a second thought (as usual), and hence making a complete Monkey's Uncle of yourself!
