YOU CALL YOURSELF TURKS AND GREEKS

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

More interesting than the Malaria association is the protection against Coronary Heart Disease. Perhaps the lower incidence of this condition in Mediterraneans, is due more to carrier status of Thalassaemia, and less to do with the diet :?

Food for thought ......

As far as evolution .... what types (other than selective) do you have in mind Bananiot? Convergent or divergent are both under selective pressure.

Cue for a Creationist ....

It CAN come down to a matter of choice...When Oracle was given the choice to put down her creed she chose Greek and Greece......Then on here she says Greek Cypriot......

Are we into "creed" now? When did you offer me a "creed" to choose Zan?

Would this be a genetically identifiable "creed" or a Zan-logic "creed" where whichever-one-you-are-in, is the imaginary victim of the whichever-one-I'm-in?

A factor!!!!!! You need to look at all aspects and not just the ones that suit you. One of my sisters, after me telling her that there is a distinct possibility that we might have Maronite blood, said, she would rather be pure Ottoman. I don't think like that but am excited about all aspects of my past. Just like you choosing to be a pure Hellenite.

Which imaginary sister is this? The one who suffers from amnesia about her trips to the free area?

People don't choose what they are born Zan, neither have I "picked" what suits me. How long have I been espousing the ONE Human Race for? If you'd know me these past 25 years you could pinpoint it to my first DNA sequencing experiment.

As for which ethnic cultural group one was born and raised in ... then tough luck to your sister for wanting to be part of an extinct nomenclature for a defunct tribe!

What do you mean Bananiot?

The programme to reduce/remove thalassemia traits from the population started in the 70s didn't it?

Were there practical means to determine who was a carrier before then?

In relation to this:

How long have the African descended Americans been in the US? Already they are losing some of their original environmentally determined traits, like the levels of sickle cell anemia being greatly reduced.

Given that we have previously learnt that:

http://www.cyprus-forum.com/viewtopic.p ... c&start=40

"My sister...the one I was referring to is the youngest.....My oldest sister will not cross...EVER!!!!",

I suspect the one who wishes she was pure Ottoman is the oldest. She sounds like the bigoted member of the family.

Hahahaaaaa..The imaginary Cypriot who happens to be Greek telling little stories

You have a choice Stella and when asked about your nationality you put Greece......Not just Greek.

As well you know Mrs would be scientist......The ottoman gene still lives on....Nothing you or your Nazi members can do about it.

Bigots are the ones that have forced all of us that will not cross to take the decision Timbo...You might be happy living with Nazis but I have no intention of crossing over to their side either.

You seem more confused than usual.

Why and when did you ask me my nationality? And why would I say Greece? .... that is a country not a nationality!

And as for my nationality, which is none of your business anyway, it might even be French for all you know (it has certainly changed at least twice in my lifetime  ).

But as to my ethnicity ... well let's see you untangle the differences between countries and nationalities first before we move upwards!

Still tell us more about this "Ottoman Gene" ....
