The R.S.P.C.A are on the ball after Saturday's game in Newcastle. If you see an Arsenal fan with a dog, ask him to call 0845 4-0 4-1 4-2 4-3 4-4 for free advice about how to hold onto a lead!

Hi Filitsa,

Naturally, having lived in San Francisco for so many years, the SF 49'ers is the team that I had supported for a very long time, but unfortunately, the glory days of the 80's and 90's are long gone and so has the team's greatness. When it comes to sports however, I generally do not care who wins and who loses. I just like to watch a good game. One thing about American Football teams that is so different than all the major Soccer teams around the world is, that any one of the AF team can become a great team with an addition of one, two or three players to become a great team from a good team, by acquiring a great quarterback, a great running back and a great wide receiver.

It may take 2-3 seasons to get these player and for these players to find their form with a team built around them, but once that combination of players are in tune together, you have a team that is going to do great things for the next 5-10 years. In Soccer, rich teams buy a lot of talent and the rest of the not so rich teams are left with scraps with hardly ever having any chance of becoming a great team. In AF, a mediocre team can become a great team is 2-3 seasons with the right 2-3 added players in a team of 53 players in a total of 32 teams from the 2 leagues, American and National Football leagues. In the UK, it is always going to be the same usual suspects as to who the best soccer teams are going to be, year after year after year after year.!
