One person has been injured when a helicopter came down near the village of Yedidalga(Xoria) in northern Cyprus.

The helicopter which was rented by the Ministry of Agriculture from France, crashed when its back get caught on electricity cables.
Police said the 38 year old French pilot was taken to the Dr Burhan Nalbantoglu State Hospital with serious injuries.

Police has launched an investigation into the incident.
