Ulterior motives of the guarantor power Turkey

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Hey wi-wi if you can read this, just stick to your Captain Kurk fantasy impersonations and forget the CyProb.

Ah, GR... He stated that he's not part of that group.

Which group... this one?

In any case, I may not agree with his stance, but at least I can talk to him sensibly, and vice-versa. Something that you're evidentally incapable of doing.

The guy is a complete nutter so how can you expect me to take him seriously?

GR, I'm a member of Deviantart.com as well (under another name, of course). And FYI considering what quite a few other members draw and post on that art site, his stuff is really nothing to unduly comment about. Sounds like you're grasping at any kind of straw to discredit him. So what's next: hunting down his family tree so you can find a Turkish connection?

Yeah, but you're not 44! :)

I'm 24, GR. Is being over 40 a problem? (16 years to go..... OMG, I'm gonna lose it!)

Well there you go! When you get to 44 I very much doubt you'll be interested in "Deviantart" or dreaming of running the Enterprise...

Is that "Deviant-art" or "Devian-tart" by the way?

Well, as they say: everybody is a screwball in his or her own way (as quoted in "The Caine Mutiny"). Expatkiwi's nuances evidentally are supporting Turkish Cypriot independence, liking flags, liking - and drawing - cartoons on the internet. Yours is being abrasive and sarcastic on forums, GR. I suppose if my interests ever come to light (which I will ernestly endeavor not to), you'd probably think I was a card of two short of a full deck as well...
I was wondering though... Had Expatkiwi come out in full support of your stance regarding the Cyprus problem, would you have been so quick to point out his shortcomings, GR? Just curious.

I’m surprised you’re suggesting he has “shortcomings”… whatever happened to the all-accepting all-respecting young aspiring CyProb scholar?

Anyway, I’ve actually lost count of people I’ve attacked who supported most of my views which proves that agreeing with me alone doesn’t necessarily befriend me but the ability to stand your ground armed with facts from research on matters if you plan to post. I just find it impossible to respect those who peddle misinformation and Expat is one such violator.

I agree that he views the Greek Cypriot side as biased and takes too readilly the Turkish Cypriot viewpoint as being more reliable and informative. I've taken pains to point out to him that their viewpoint isn't necessarilly the only one, and that the GC's do have their viewpoints which should not be disdained. He told me that he has yet to speak to a Greek who is a moderate, and thus incapable of compromise and negotiation. But now, with the ATCA forum breathing down his neck for crticizing Turkish motives, he may be realizing that Turkey and Turks in general may not be quite so pleasing company either...
