With all due respects anyone can make that claim but it doesnt confirm that these lists are not ficticious or at best inflated.

You cannot post fake people with that much detail. Everyone knows if there was a John Citizen born in 1934 living in some village... you just can't get away with bogus info on lists like these that have been combed many times over the years by hundreds of thousands of people looking for their relatives. These are official govt lists by the way.

It is time all of us face the facts. The casualties were within the scale of a small civil war till the invasion. From that time on they jumped to reflect the level of violence wrought by a fully equipped NATO army. This should make us all think about a possible future conflict when both sides will be equipped with much heavier arms than those used in 1974.

The point is the numbers that are used for propaganda to try to blur the edges of the coup Nikitas.....To make it seem that not much was going on and to cover up the reasons...

There was plenty going on but neither side had the fire power, time, or need to cause more casualties. (NB: the 100 does not include the wounded)

So Turkey did an invasion, ethnically cleansing 1/3rd of Cypriots from their homes, without killing anybody. That is what you are trying to say? Turkey killed no Cypriots", "Turkey killed no Armenians", "Turkey Killed no Kurds". Denying all your crimes, usual Turkish tactic, nothing new.

Or maybe the 100s of thousands of GCs that were ethnically cleansed is also fictitious, and the north part of Cyprus was always inhabited by Turks ... right VP?
