Really? Based on what? Hitler murdered millions of Jews, what did Papadopoulos did to you? He didn't accept your terms and insisted that Cyprus should be ruled democratically? This is what makes him "Hitler"?

The "Hitlers" are all on your side my friend. Those that murdered 1.5 million Armenians, those that murdered 10s of thousands of Cypriots, those that invaded a sovereign country, occupy it, and installed a puppet regime on it. That is what you do, and that is exactly what Hitler did.

If you left Cyprus because of that conflict you should always remember that it is YOU who started it because you could not accept that Cypriots should have the right to take democratic decisions for their own island, but instead you attacked us and collaborated with foreigners to stop Cyprus from being free.

And the Greeks who replaced you are non others that the refugees who you forced out of their own homes!!

So how can you blame us for the conflict that you started and for the results of your own partition dream?

You invaded Cyprus multiple times, always with the same aim: To kill us, take our lands and exploit us. During all this time that you have been attacking and killing us we only fought for one thing: The right of Cypriots to be free from foreign rulers so we can take decisions for our own island in a democratic way respecting the human rights of everybody.

This is the same thing we continue to fight for today. And you, as always, continue with crimes and illegalities against Cyprus and its people.

Papadopoulos has always been an obstacle for the Turkish plans to force us into capitulation and take away our human and democratic rights. This is why the Turkish invaders hate him. Them hating him is a confirmation of how good Papadopoulos was for Cyprus.

the aim of killing you?? mate if the turks wanted all GC's dead they could have wiped them off the face of the earth within days. A few hundred thousand GC's against the entire Ottoman empire would have been no match, if they wanted the GC's gone you my friend would never have been born. Wake up and smell the coffee.

The Turks killed 10% of the Cypriot population within days when they first invaded our island, and many more 1000s after, including 1974.

What you missed is their other aim: To exploit us. If they had killed us all they would have nobody to exploit and tax.

Nothing is new in this Forum,dear DT...Zan is right when he says that a lot of abuse are thrown at Ecevit by many posters here whenever his death ,or anniversary of his death ,comes up...But that is no excuse for us to stop practising empathy,sympathy and compassion at the death of someone who was such a big part of our common history...

Not trying to find excuses for myself Bir, I think all know what I think of him.......Just trying to show DTs little games and double standards. Tpap has played tricks with us nearly all his life and it has cost many lives and heartache. Sorry but I have no idea where to get the empathy from because in order to do that you have to be able to put yourself in his shoes........I haven't got it in me.......If I were ordered to do what he did on pain of death I would have been shot by my own at the beginning. I have no idea how to fill Hitlers shoes either.


As for Piratis.......Stil punching out propaganda with no real truths......Still no acknowledgment of the dead before Turkey came and the danger to the TCs......About 2000 GCs were killed by the coupist Greeks and still he tries to blame the Turks........He has become, or was he always, about as useful as a limp sausage to a man with no hands.......

he was good for GC's bad for TC's.

By the same token, according to you so was Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, bad for the TCS and good for the GCs re: the Lausanne treaty where Cyprus was allowed to slip away from Turkey.
