Like it or hate it, this is what the city square of Nicosia will look like pretty soon.

I think it looks great. Excellent focal point for the city.

Damn

I'm 1/4 from Polis Chrysohous so I can't really say anything bad about Paphos. My skoullos grandad would beat the crap out of me.

On Eleftheris Sq, I think its a mistake that in a country that gets up to 45 degrees in the summer the square has abslutely no shaded area anywhere (apart from under it.)

It does look like a cement slab now that you mention it. Should fit in quite well with the rest of Nicosia.

They need to plant lots of trees.

Your grandad will only beat the crap out off 3/4 of you, whilst leaving your good 1/4 unharmed. :lol:

I agree that it will never look like that. All they need to do was tidy up what was there, getting rid of the periptera would help as well.
