I really don't want to get into this discussions about Cyprus being a Greek island that/ Greek island that's not, but doesn't the north always refer to the south as being

1 Greek South Cyprus

2 Greek South Government

3 Greek part of Cyprus and so on.

I know all this is done deliberately to make the division a reality, but at the same time, the north has run the risk of establishing Cyprus being "Greek" since the RoC has worldwide recognition, and if the TC's are calling everything in the south as being "Greek", then don't be shocked if the world start believing you that the Republic of Cyprus is Greek, because that's what you are telling them to believe..!

Its simple the south being 67% is GC dominated and therefore not my country. Its like visiting Spain Italy of the UK, another country.

And which is your country? A country that is GC dominated can not be your country?

No it cannot so we are the country recognized by Turkey.

Most of the T/Cs disagree with you VP !! Face it , you have lost it when the indigenous Turkish Cypriot tells the occupying troops to piss off !!

So a country that the majority is Greek Cypriots can not be your country. So Cyprus was never your country because Greek Cypriots have always been majority in Cyprus. So you have always been a foreigner in Cyprus. So you are just a foreigner illegally occupying 1/3rd of Cyprus and trying to create a country on land you stole from us but nobody is recognizing you because you are criminals and that land belongs to us not you! What everybody recognizes is that Republic of Cyprus is Greek, and you admit this as well, and that the whole of Cyprus belongs to Republic of Cyprus. So the whole of Cyprus is Greek and you are a foreigner.

So a country that the majority is Greek Cypriots can not be your country. So Cyprus was never your country because Greek Cypriots have always been majority in Cyprus. You have 63% and you still want more, greedy buggers.

Nice try to sidestep my question VP. Now that you got your non answer out of the way, how about answering the question, which is, if you don't believe that Cyprus is Greek, then why does the north refer to the RoC as being Greek this, Greek that, Greek the other etc, etc, etc, since the whole world recognises the island of Cyprus, the RoC as being only one county. Are you then not helping to create the image, that Cyprus is Greek. So in a way, you are agreeing with Piratis that the island is Greek by helping him in spreading that message.! Why are you helping him.?

Nice try to sidestep my question VP. Now that you got your non answer out of the way, how about answering the question, which is, if you don't believe that Cyprus is Greek, then why does the north refer to the RoC as being Greek this, Greek that, Greek the other etc, etc, etc, since the whole world recognises the island of Cyprus, the RoC as being only one county. Are you then not helping to create the image, that Cyprus is Greek. So in a way, you are agreeing with Piratis that the island is Greek by helping him in spreading that message.! How can I put this so clearly that even you can understand the 63% of the island now uner the control of GCs can be called what the hell they want I dont really give a shit for that part of the island as I do not feel it has anything to do with me just like France Spain or Italy.

Nobody goes anywhere to "live as a minority" : we go to places to live as people.

If a unified state encourages the learning of Turkish and Greek and is democratic then that's fine for me. I'm not interested in having 'minority' or 'majority' status, democracy and equality before the law will do just fine for me.

Real depends who administers that state if they are allowed to use their numbers to discriminate and persecute us then will you be happy?

Fair point Viewpoint but then what I would look for in a settlement is the re-assurance that the future state was democratic and could be effectively governed fairly and equitably. I don't think that any particular group TCs, GCs or anyone else are inherently incapable of ruling fairly and equitably : it depends on how the institutions are set up and organised.
