No, I will let you know right from the begging if we like some agreement or not. If you use your 40.000 troops keeping our land as hostage in order to blackmail Cypriots and force them to sign something which is unfair, then you should be 100% certain that it will not work, since nothing unfair works for long.
Where do we draw the line that allows us a cleam slate or will you always be revenge seeking or trying to get the upper hand due to your numerical advantage, we thought 1960 was that fresh start but you insist that the consititution you utilize today was forced upon you and only works when TCs are not included. This arguement is pathetic as it was your dream to gift Cyprus to Greece because of your democratic right which caused the division we have today. If you have of concentrated more on building an independent Cyprus with democratic and human rights for everyone without discrimination then we would not have been debating on this forum today. It is becuase of past mistakes that we need safeguards which the UN also support to build a structure where neither side is allowed to make past mistakes or dominate the other.
We will have a clean slate when you accept democracy and human rights for all Cypriots without any racist discrimination. Refusing this to the Cypriot people and your collaboration with foreigners for gains on our expense is the mistake of the past that should not be made again.
We are seeking no revenge. You are. You are the one who wants to take away our rights and our land. What I support is the 100% human rights for all Cypriots, including you. So where did you see the revenge?
So it will not be like the 1960 agreements where you signed along the dotted line but had no intention to abide by the rules. Do we also have the same right as yourself to say No to an agreement we do not want? as you may use the recognition you stole and 12.000 GC troops to hold us hostage in order to get us to accept your demands.
The clean slate will arrive the day you accept us as equals and aprtners in a new structure where safeguards will guarantee neither side tried to dominate or exploit the other against their will.
Revenge is your need to take away our community rights and force us into a position that will leave us at your mercy where you will use your numerical advantage in the name of democracy to demote us to second class citizenship and discrimination as was the case in the past.
