Does God/Allah/Budda/Jehovah/etc. exist?

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

Yes God exists. As to Hindus, Muslims and Judism and the rest they are all false Religions. Just look at how they repress their Women such barbaric behaviour.

If God didn't exist you would have to invent it.

It is not a matter of believing in evolution ... it is a matter of accepting the evidence or refuting it.

Evolution rests on evidence for which you may have to prepare yourself .... as opposed to accepting some-one's theory about a fantasy ... and without expecting evidence (much like reading a novel).

Blind faith is not comparable to an evidence based physical, changeable and testable proposal.

Believe in what your heart tells you not false prophets. Does Evolution exist because all I see is Devolution.

My heart tells me that you are an idiot and a bigot.

I think I shall heed your advice and go with my heart!

Women are also repressed in Western Society, and some Muslim nations such as UAE are fairly liberal, modern and absolutely amazing. :D

I said quite the opposite if you care to read.

Refute the evidence for Evolution if you can, and even then it doesn't matter if all you need is blind faith and no evidence.

With Evolution, you can have both:

(1) Blind faith in Evolution ... because if it's good enough for religion, it should be good enough for Evolution.

But also, on top of that:

(2) Evidence, refutable and testable. Above and beyond what is presented for religion.

Take your choice ... just blind faith: or blind faith and / or evidence?

Don't forget the way that religion over the milennia has actively sought to suppress the employment of refutable and testable evidence, such as when the Catholic church threatened Gallileo with torture in order to force him to recant his assertion, based on positivist scientific research, that the Earth revolves around the Sun.

Floda wrote:The whole concept of religious belief must have been born out of a desire to understand that which (to those of bygone ages) was a complete mystery.

Science now has a greater understanding of all things and is in a position to make many contradictory claims, particularly in terms of 'The Creation'.

What science cannot do and the acceptance of religious beliefs CAN, is unite people (particularly the underprivileged) and set standards (tenets) which PRESUMABLY will enable them to live better lives with the added bonus (in many cases) of eternal life, providing the tenets are adhered to.

As to myself, the prospect of eternal life would not appeal since I have seen so much hatred and destruction in the time I have already spent, I am sure I will have had quite enough by the time I reach my dotage.

Sorry, must end now, called to the bar, will continue later.

.

I hope you are not a lawyer/Barrister!
