the sentance before you say they fire bombed your grand parents house :?

They seem awfully confused don't they... on the one hand it seems they all have a TMT intimidation story to tell and on the other it’s like they’re forgiven because they “protected people”! :?

What’s the matter Deniz, don’t you believe in self confessions?

“So dear, bigOz,I owe my exile to Australia to the TMT more than the EOKA...

Stop being selective with the truth,GR!
That was my personal belief about my personal situation at the time...I have explained it many times since...I was mistaken...It was not the TMT who had organised the assassination attempt on my father, but the local ara commander who had a personal grudge against my father...So that confession is no longer valid...

And don't you think people's long dead fathers should be allowed to rest in peace, and not become fodder for your vile propaganda activities..???

Sorry mate but you can't change your story now and I’m a great believer of self confessions! Now why would I want to call you a liar? :?

You know, what really gets me about these ever changing stories is that we spent a few weeks going over the fact Bir accused the RoC of driving him plus tens of thousands of TCs, similarly, out of Cyprus in the 60s so that they could carry out "ethnic cleansing" of TCs. When asked for evidence, he had none, except some 60 TCs who were on the same boat as him. And then, I spotted an old post of his where he confessed to leaving Cyprus because he wanted to avoid Military Service.

What a blooming cheek ... fine if he was too self-interested, to avoid MS, but why did he have to blame the RoC and exaggerate several thousand TCs as being forced to leave in the same way ...

No honour ...

I think we’re dealing with a compulsive liar or a very unstable personality constantly trying to mould into something more “acceptable” if you like, on the forum. I don’t know… it may be yet another attention seeking method! :?

I’ll tell you what though… I’ve had it up to my neck with most Turkish Cypriots because the one thing that most have in common is that they’re full of shit!

And I really can’t put that in a milder way…

Not confused GR. Not at all. I am able to criticise their wrong doings doing the period when they enforced RRD's 'Turk to Turk' campaign and praise them for their defence of the village/enclaves.
If they had a hand in partitioning our island I will condemn them for that. I als condemn them for the murders I know they carried out. I dont see any confusion there. I am plain honest. I think its honesty which scares you.

Have a good night GR.

am in a position to state both faces of the TMT.

Can you do the same about your paramilitaries?

its called bi-polarizm and there is somthing really wrong there if you havent understood yet.

I use Li, but not for medicinal purposes clever dick

Were you looking for the word 'bi-polar'?

The TMT did both good and bad; can you say the same about your paramilitaries or EOKA?

Eoka 1955-59: almost half the GC male/females were members.Too many idealists in there.
1960-1962:no GC armed groups. Not the same for TCs
1962-1967 Paramilitary groups of Lissarides/Sampson/yiorkatzis. Manned by hardcore ex-Eokas. Much-much less than the 1955-59 Eoka membership
National Guard headed by Grivas.

from 1968-1972:No serous activity. Some tiny groups planting bombs to each other and against Makarios supporters
1972: Eoka B was formed: Some Ex-Eoka 1955-59 members + some new+ some selected units from National Guard. Sole purpose to overthrow Makarios.

In red those who did bad to TCs. Today's associasion of the Eoka 1955-59 fighters consider it an insult to identify them with those in red or blue. I don't know how right or wrong they are. Perhaps the aim of each group was different, but certainly some members of the Original Eoka 1955-59 were also members or founders of the others.

Was Yorgadjis a minister in government whilst he was leader of the paramilitaries?

I know he was but from 63 onwards he was not part of the government and Yorgadjis was part of legally recognised government there is a difference.
