I once asked him why he will not challenge the GC patriots on the forum and his answer was very revealing. He leaves all that to his friend Milti. I notice he did not give the same answer to Bir.

You ONLY had to bare with YFred for a week.!! Man, you don't know how lucky you are. We had him for a year now and he has still not made ONE self made decent post worth having a debate on. He is just trying to collect as many posting number as possible, just like frequent flyer's miles and nothing else, because he believes that the Admin will give him a free flight around the world once he collects 50,000 points, or else he thinks he gets smarter with each point collected.!

I am spending all my free time trying to respond to Kikapu' posts ,dear Pyro...It is school holidays here and I have my 10 year-old son with me...There is not much point my responding to Viewpoint...I know where he is coming from...I dont necessarily agree with him but I understand him...As I explained before,I am trying to understand where Kikapu is coming from...because I feel he can make a real difference on this Forum,if he only talked about what he knows about the past events...I am trying to get him to the point where he is part of the solution not the problem..Dont anybody get this wrong...Kikapu is the little brother I never had,(even though he is a larger than life personality)...I am very fond of him...I think he is a remarkable person...There is a method to my madness,don't you stress yourself...

There were a lot of occasions me and Kikapu have confronted. There was one though that made THE difference.It was when i said something about nigers. He didn't like it he considered it racist and i had to admit wrong in the end, or admit I was a little racist and backwards like every other Cypriot. I remember also how he thought the majority of Turks and TCs he met have the mentality of previous centuries.

For me his argument that he moved on, IS GENUINE, and he considers himself (and quite rightfully imo) as ahead of his times. You are right to be very fond of your little brother, after all he is a TC. I haven't met a GC like that, so for the moment i get consolation that at least i found a Cypriot like that.

Bir and I are having a very mature debate without insults and anger as the case has been in the past between many members here on the forum. Let this be a lesson to you all. Bir is someone I admire and even if we are not on the same political wavelength any longer as the case has been for the last 3 years, it does not detract my admiration of him as a person, a fellow Cypriot and a TC. We are "that friend" who is telling the other what they don't want to hear, but should hear it all the same, that's all. His past experiences in Cyprus as a child was much longer than mine and he being few years older than me, he can also remember more of what went on, unlike you who were still suckling on your mother’s milk in the comforts of your home in the UK. This does not however make his position for the future between the GCs and the TCs in Cyprus anymore correct than mine. If anything, I have far less emotional baggage to deal with from the past than he and are in a better position to see the situation more clearly without clouding issues with the horrors of the past. You on the other hand have zero experience in Cyprus before 1993, so that makes your opinions only propaganda and nothing else, which gives you ZERO credibility by all open minded individuals!.

I only express my own opinions and was not promoted as you have been to represent the views of the average TCs and the settlers in the north , which from my prospective, you are bringing a very bad image to all those decent TCs by you being their face and voice, so please VP, do not get carried away with your own importance, because it is hardly a compliment that you are paying to the decent TCs, nor are you in a position to judge anyone’s credibility in what others opinions are. I'm giving you a TCs prospective on what a TC would have done had the entire Cyprus situation was in reverse, which I'm sure you would do everything in the exact way as the GCs are doing. It is only Human Nature. You should be very grateful to me to give you the knowledge you lack in seeing why the other side is acting in a way they do. The only problem is, you have no such vision or understanding in thinking situations in such “Parallel Universes”.!

Another great post reflecting the double standards and own truths you churn out, having less Cyprus experiencies than Bir makes you less emotionally involved and therefore uneffected by the past to put you ahead of Bir when evaluating issues but when it comes to me with no actual life experience of the past troubles you label me an outsider who doesnt have an opinion other than the propaganda that thrown about, you really need to have some consistency in what you preach, like it or not we are all involved with Cyprus and therefore with your logic I live on the island so that gives me more rights than it does you or Bir, why dont you just keep out of this forum seeing you dont live here, is that how we should resolve things.

You are not a TC and we do not accept you as one as you have nothing positive or pro TC to say, to me personally you are a GC and always will be plus you are a diluted Cypriot who has lived the majority of his life abroad and will probably with a bit of luck die there and never ever see the TCs in their own environment away from GC domination and discrimination. He is not a TC you can have him, 99% of the TCs would reject him the moment he opened his mouth, he is a threat to TC exsistence so you can keep him for cleaning your arses.

Thank you for that post VP. More propaganda from you. At least I had experience up to 1964 in Cyprus. You only came in 1993 to live off others miseries, that's all and has remained that way till today. That's why you want to hang onto what you have, because you know, that as soon as there is a settlement based on True Federation and Democracy, you will more than likely end up in jail, therefore you will be on the first flight out of Ercan before the it becomes a wheat field again.

As far as my stance goes, it just demostrates that I have moved on from the past and only looking for the future which Bir was having a difficulty understanding how I could have moved on where as others have not from their past experiences (you are not involved in this). Perhaps I'm one of the lucky one's. Who knows. Still, it doesn't make my ideas as to how the future for all Cypriots can be bad or wrong. They are more in line with the rest of the EU and not with Turkey or along with all the other non democratic Muslim countries that you want.!
