Where are these TCs? work sites? there are very few TCs in important jobs, when you put forward they do not know the language it is farcical as Turksh is an official language and English is widely spoken by the majority of GCs.

i know some tcs who work in offices in government buildings issuing ids they need turkish speakers and other government jobs but maybe the tcs are happy to work them jobs? you know they make lots of money doing that job in the south, we are doing another house downstairs and so far i gave 140,000 .. maybe some are happy doing that work? nothing wrong with it? gcs do it to.

no you would be suprised how bad our english is.. you will find mostly gcs who have lived in england or people with high jobs like doctors speak well english, other then that our english is pretty poor.

tcs have more jobs then we are given and more important ones. trust me they are not being discriminated when it comes to work at all.

You complain-rather accuse- the GCs that they only offer those TCs who come looking for a job in the RoC controlled areas, the worst of jobs like construction workers etc. That we don't offer them jobs like lawyers, Engineers, Teachers,Bank employees,Commercial Managers etc. The common denominator for all these people is they don't know the language. And the common denominator of good jobs is.. they are hard to get even for GCs.

So suppose all those TC people who now come to the RoC controlled areas looking for a job (who btw are all unemployed) were going to Italy instead, what jobs do you think they would get?

Isnt Turkish an official language of your country?

Not since we entered the EU with only Greek as the Official language. :D

Rubbish, all you have do is visit the south to know you are talking rubbish and assuming they like working on building sites is not only childish but very stupid, these people are university graduates.

What did you expect after the TCs were "locked up" in the north for 30 years by Denktash. How did you expect these TCs to get a good jobs in the RoC during those times. Only in the last few years the TCs have been able to go to the south and apply for jobs. What did you expect, that companies would kick out their employees to make room for the TCs.? I don't think so. They just need to apply for any openings like any other candidates. If Greek is required and the TC does not speak Greek, then it would not help him get that job in private businesses. In Government jobs, Turkish should be accepted if the TC does not speak Greek also, but in private businesses, it is not the same.!

i live in the south i was born and raised here i know it better then you..

i know you want to hate us and say how much of barbarians we are and try put us down every chance you get but come with a degree go to the government or a high job with the RIGHT qualifications and i bet you any money you will get the job, lots of gcs work construction do you know how much money they get? i know in the north they probably get a few cents a year but if i pay 140,000 in a village imagine what they are paying in nicosia or limassol or pafos down town?. some university graduates you think they leave uni and suddenly have a 1 million pound a year job? most of them finish and take any small job to get the money to pay off loans!
and sometimes all the qualification in the world means NOTHING without experience. its very hard to get a job and im sorry you feel that way but your wrong.

and on a seperate note if i came into he north and asked for a well paid job will the turks even consider me or will they laugh and not even talk to me?

you cant expect gcs to keep giving you people everything and then spit in our face and demand everything. we want your jobs we want your money your island your everything. it does not work that way. only in twisted third world countries it does.

btw the house next door to me is a tiny crap hole and they are asking 600,000 for it

In a racist vegence seeking GC society they do not stand a chance, thinking otherwise would be fatal to anyone who takes their career seriouly and wants to build a future...the south is a dead end for TCs.
