You complain-rather accuse- the GCs that they only offer those TCs who come looking for a job in the RoC controlled areas, the worst of jobs like construction workers etc. That we don't offer them jobs like lawyers, Engineers, Teachers,Bank employees,Commercial Managers etc. The common denominator for all these people is they don't know the language. And the common denominator of good jobs is.. they are hard to get even for GCs.
So suppose all those TC people who now come to the RoC controlled areas looking for a job (who btw are all unemployed) were going to Italy instead, what jobs do you think they would get?
Isnt Turkish an official language of your country?

no you would be suprised how bad our english is.. you will find mostly gcs who have lived in england or people with high jobs like doctors speak well english, other then that our english is pretty poor.
tcs have more jobs then we are given and more important ones. trust me they are not being discriminated when it comes to work at all.

Where are these TCs? work sites? there are very few TCs in important jobs, when you put forward they do not know the language it is farcical as Turksh is an official language and English is widely spoken by the majority of GCs.

Rubbish, all you have do is visit the south to know you are talking rubbish and assuming they like working on building sites is not only childish but very stupid, these people are university graduates.

What did you expect after the TCs were "locked up" in the north for 30 years by Denktash. How did you expect these TCs to get a good jobs in the RoC during those times. Only in the last few years the TCs have been able to go to the south and apply for jobs. What did you expect, that companies would kick out their employees to make room for the TCs.? I don't think so. They just need to apply for any openings like any other candidates. If Greek is required and the TC does not speak Greek, then it would not help him get that job in private businesses. In Government jobs, Turkish should be accepted if the TC does not speak Greek also, but in private businesses, it is not the same.!
