Followers of the Cypriot Aphrodite! :D

Aphrodite was pinched and modified from the original Phoenician “Astarte”, so unless you’re finally accepting our Lebanese blood brothers she may not be a good symbol for your cause…

She was a whore?

No, she was nothing like you, in terms of mentality.

For once we agree on something. She was a whore, but worse she never charged, just gave it away?

Then by definition, she was NOT a whore. A very charitable lady indeed.

Now wash your mouth with honey.

Hello devout brother in Cypriotness! :D

Peace be upon you! And may her holiness and charity bless your soul!

So what? The Greek Cypriots were treated far worse by the Ottoman dogs for 300+ years!

Get Real!

How dare you! Didn't you know that Cypriot history started in 1963?

Oh sorry... I keep forgetting that Cyprus surfaced from the water that year! :?

Oh yeah!! That too; you tried to drown us  .......(with love) 8)

How was your Green Monday feast Deniz... or don't you observe that anymore?

Whats that, when its at home? Feasting days are over for me. I dont like Mondays. I dont particularly like green colour; unless its the Green green grasses of home.

:? What kind of a Cypriot doesn't know Green Monday? (Kathara deftera)!

We were invited to Flora our neighbor from Ay. Antronikos. She told us she was celebrating the '50 days before Easter'/ Karnavalia. I declined but Ann did not. There were 14 Cypriots there. Plenty food minus meat. She just come back with a bowl of Tarana soup with halloumi. I purchased the sweets (chocolate eclairs). We speak in English, so she did not use 'kathara deftera' she called it carnavali. Perhaps Karpasians dont use the name 'Green Monday'. I thought you were on some 'environment ' trip.

I hope it was good for you anyway.
