Halil, I borrowed the picture from Politis. It is a very good photo because it also shows what we call in Greek Τεφρώδες Φως. I do not know the English term for it and any assistance will be appreciated. If you look at the picture carefully you can make out the full disc of the moon. This is because the dim part of the moon is actually recieving reflected light from the earth! See picture below:

Just checked it, you are right, sorry. Take it back. The Greek version is better I think.

Thinking about it...wasn't it the moon courting Mars and Venus looking on?

Mars should be the brighter one of the 2, no?

Hate to say it, but it looks like the symbol on the Turkish flag in reverse. Could this be an omen of an impending reversal for Turkey - perhaps on the Cyprus question?
