Where is Nikon Camera Shop in Cyprus?

Postby korayus » Tue Dec 02, 2008 9:12 am

Hi,
I would like to buy some Camera Lenses for my Nikon DSLR camera (24-70 and 14-24 mm)
Where can I find them? Do you know any official Nikon Gear Store?

Hope to hear from you soon.
Regards...

I don't know if there is a shop that sells just Nikon but I think most good photography shops should have several lenses. You can find the Cyprus distributor here http://imaging.nikon.com/products/imagi ... /index.htm But why don't you buy online? You can find almost any lens you want and at good price here http://www.bhphotovideo.com/ and they ship to Cyprus!

Thank you for your answer. I use bhphotovideo before and I always have problem with custom office. On the other hand the lenses which I want are quite expensive and delicate. So I prefer to buy it at shop and test it there. If something is wrong I could chane it easily.

What problems? I never had any problems with customs so far. You just need to pay the VAT if you order from outside the EU. You can also try pixmania that includes VAT and deliver at your home so there is no customs at all: http://www.pixmania.com.cy/cy/gr/xx/33/ ... eresn.html Or just call the distributor and he will tell you all the shops that sell them in Cyprus.

Dear Sotos,
Thank you for helping. I am living North, So when I order goods from internet, It goes first to Turkey, than lots of trouble with customer office at Turkey. And than they transfer it North Cyprus. From this point its easy to pay VAT and get it. But total price much higher than it suppose to be. And lots of "red tape" too! Anyway.. Thank you for the internet link "pixmania" Unfortunately its in greek language. So I couldnt manage to see address details of them. Could you help me with the address? Next week I wilşl cross the border. So if its possible I would like to buy lenses.
Kindly Regards...

There used to be a Pioneer shop in Ledra street which also had all the Nikon stuff. I think they were taken over by Malloupas and Papacostas.
