Wasnt this the Cypriot National team? What is more logical than

Goverment sponsorship? If it was a private team I would understand

If we want to play football, rugby golf or whatever, we can certainly pay and would never expect Cyprus to be ashamed for not footing the bill ... especially when Cyprus is constantly threatened by Turks and has to think about defence and getting the refugees back into their rightful homes.

So if you want to go down the road of Connor and his shaming Cyprus at the drop of a hat ... prepare for being countered!
