The Second Annual Short story and poetry competition’s award ceremony will be held this evening at the Greek Cypriot Nicosia Municipality’s multi-purpose cultural centre.

The award ceremony which will begin at 7.45 pm will hear opening speeches by President of the Greek Cypriot Literature Association Christos Hadjipapas and Gurgenc Korkmazel, member of the Board of the Cyprus Turkish Artists and Writers Association.

The bi-communal choir will perform a short concert at the end of the evening.

The event will be open to the public.

A shuttle service will be available from the Greek Cypriot checkpoint at Ledra Palace at 7pm for anyone wanting to attend.
