`SPEED OR LIFE` CAMPAIGN AIMS TO RAISE AWARENESS ON TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS
The `Speed or Life` campaign, which was launched as part of the bicommunal `Road Safety in Cyprus` project, is continuing.
The campaign by the Society for the Prevention of Road Traffic Accidents is being supported by the United Nations development programme.
Representatives of the Society are distributing leaflets explaining the dangers caused by high-speed driving with the aim of raising awareness on traffic accidents.
As part of the campaign launched yesterday, hats, T-shirts, visiting card boxes, calculators and pens bearing slogans are being distributed at stands manned in the capital.
Both sides in Cyprus have the worst road safety records in Europe.
