Ditto Lana, as my wifes family originate from India we have close ties with the country and it's people, and are thoughts are with them at the moment.
As for condemnation of the recent events and possibly thinking for a moment of the individuals who have lost their lives, as always forum lives up to it's reputation of apportioning blame rather than showing a little compassion.

However, I am certainly not 'dignified' and there was no prior knowledge!

My heart goes out to all the victims and their families.

Sadly, tourism throughout India will suffer too - with yet more people losing their jobs and joining the masses of the desparately poor there.

To me, India is the most fascinating country in the world and Mumbai an intriguing place to be.

I am surprised at the lack of condemnation of this atrocity against so many innocents, on this thread.

Lana

We do condemn these vile act Lana. I am still recovering from the shock of it all. May God curse them all, yet they do it in the name of god. Damn them. Another sad day for humanity.

Yes but which God? they may claim it in the name of God as did the Nazis but that does not mean that it is true.
They also stoned a 13 year old child in the name of God for being raped and shot women in kabul in the name of God for learning to read.

I don't know this God.

are you sure that British are safe in Cyprus ?

This British citizen feels far safer walking along St Andrew's Street in Limassol (or Girne Caddesi in Nicosia) than, say, Stoke Newington High Street back in his home country.

Agreed. Even though times are changing on Cyprus (and not necessarily for the better) it is generally safer here.

Some will say that all muslims aren't terrorists; I prefer the alternative by saying that almost all terrorist are muslims..
I wonder just who is the real cause of Islamaphobia? I certainly wouldn't be pointing the finger at the BNP in the UK.

I would be pointing it at your Zionist friends, the ones who control the Muslims and shape Europe's laws on immigration. One example would be the crypto Jew Ataturk but there are so many more in the Arab/Turco world. As for the BNP they seem to give out peoples names but they have a few Jewish members so I guess they are ok then, as Yoda might say, cut from the same cloth they are!

What a load of twaddle, somebody makes a point and straight away you dive in as if you're answering what they've written.
Just look at what you've written; just mindless meandering rabble rousing twaddle of zero content.

I'm not too worried personally, although I am a British citizen and I have a British passport, my next foreign holiday will be to Cyprus, I am hopeful that the Cypriots won't be waiting for me to arrive and kill me
I must be careful what I say on this forum, otherwise I might be in trouble when I arrive in Cyprus
