Ok Lady Zan, if this story is fact then you will have absolutely no trouble providing us with factual evidence to prove it. Let's see it.

If you think that asking for factual evidence constitutes 'spreading hate' then we wont agree on anything. Give me articles with clear facts Halil, not fantasies and half-truths.

I'm not denying the suffering of TCs and neither is anyone else (as far as I can tell). What I DO deny is the claims by the TCs that we (the GCs) have always been the instigators of the troubles and violence.

While I expect that there will have been some deliberate vandalism to TC property in the south, I think it's wrong to blame us for the inevitable deterioration caused by 34 years of neglect.

Your homes are still here waiting for you. Ours are full of crooks and thieves. Show me how that is fair and tell me again who is spreading the hate. Me or your 'TRNC' and the Turks?

Halil, of the places you have mentioned, I have personally visited:

Geçitkale (Kofinou)
Mormenekşe (Dromolaxia)
Taşkent (Dohni)
Aşağı Binatlı (Lower polmidia)
Limasol(Lemosos)
Mutluyaka(Moutlayiaka)
Yunus (Kolossi)

What is your question? Are you referring to their current general condion, which in all cases is excellent, or more specifically to the state of mosques, Turkish Cypriot graveyards etc, etc, etc? (I told people that "etc, etc, etc" is catching!)

In Polemidia the mosque is in very good condition. As to the cemetries - there is an old Turkish Cypriot cemetry whose destruction I have described above, and also a new Turkish Cypriot cemetry further down the main road. The latter now serves as a kind of general Muslim cemetry for Limassol, and a lot of those buried there are Syrians and Lebanese. The new cemetry is in current use and is very well looked after, with a permanent staff member in attendance.

There is an extensive Turkish Cypriot cemetry in Tochni. It is in fairly good condition but there is some damage - it is hard to tell if this is malicious or just due to wear and tear over time. The location of the mosque there is shown on a map of the village posted for the benefit of tourists but I was unable to locate it.

The grand mosque in Limassol is in good condition and is used for worship, with a Syrian Imam posted there permanently. This mosque is nowadays mainly used by Arab residents of Limassol. There is another mosque near Agios Antonis church which is in good condition and I believe is used by Turkish Cypriots for main Friday and Bayram prayers, when a Turkish Cypriot Imam comes from the north for this purpose.

As to the other places, I do not know them well enough to comment.
