Postby halil » Wed Nov 26, 2008 8:35 pm

Data received from the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce shows that there has been an increase in the selling of North Cyprus products in South Cyprus within the framework of the Green Line Regulation.

According to a statement issued by the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce, over 1 million Euros worth of North Cyprus products were sold in South Cyprus in October along.

Potatoes topped the list of the products sold in the south.

The statement noted that the selling of potatoes in the South continues to rise.

The high amount of selling of potatoes and other vegetables and fruit is followed by plastic products, stone products, furniture, scraps and fresh fish.

The lowest rate of trade made from the North to the South within this year was observed in March.

I think there is more hope of econimics, rather than politics, being the engine of reintegration.

Exactly my point, Tim.

Financially independent and standing on their own feet, each nation will behave differently, leading to a power of veto over decisions dictated. (Provided there're no emotional ties)
