Ridiculous...

Armenian Cypriots are ethnic Armenians. The same with Maronites and Latins.

What unites us is our Cypriot nationality, and patriotism.

...when everybody knows that Armenian Cypriots are not Armenian but Cypriot, just like Greek Cypriots are not Greek but Cypriot, right?

One more thing, if there is any form of "Greek propaganda" going on in Cyprus, you do realize it's only Cypriots that run it, right? Or do you suggest that Greece somehow "brainwashes" your people?

I will help, GR!

Good, then gather your thoughts as to what it may be for the average TC and post it here so that we may see where you're coming from and I'll do ours... let's see what common values we have.

This will be a very interesting experiment, because you will find that there will be very few TCs willing to abandon their ethnic identity while they expect GCs to do just that.

I didn't see any mention of anyone abandoning their ethnic identity, just what the "Creed of the Cypriot" is.

Greece had implanted the seed from a long time ago starting from around the 1880s just after the German Heinrich Schliemann at around 1872 discovered what was later touted as the “lost city of Troy” in Turkey and the alleged Mycenaean ancient sites of Mycenae, etc. This discovery had given some weight to Homer's imaginary Iliad story and the Greeks influenced the very desperate Cypriots under Ottoman occupation by implanting the dream that they belonged to a bigger, better, glorious past, etc…

So Cypriots were not Greeks before 1880? Why did noone tell them?

wikipedia wrote:When Greece became independent in 1829 many Cypriots sought the incorporation of Cyprus into Greece, but it remained part of the Ottoman Empire.
...
After the Greek revolution of 1821 and the establishment of the Greek state, the Greek Cypriots expressed practically the wish of 'Union' with Greece, as it happened with the Ionian Islands and later with Crete.

Certainly a non-existent Greece could not have propagandized the Greekness of Cypriots, could she?

What about Kition, Salamina, and Engomi?

As has been said before, Cypriots are as much a part of Hellenism as Athenians, Spartans, Minoans, Dorians and Mycenaeans. We were instrumental in the development of the Greek language. We have always worshipped the same Gods/God, share the same culture and customs.

You need to accept the fact that we are ethnically Greek. This can not change just because we are under threat from Turkey.

Ethnically we are Greek, but our nationality is Cypriot. Is it such a complex concept for you to differentiate between Ethnicity and Nationality?

Some of my foolish compatriots are oblivious to how much they are helping Turkey accomplish her dreams at our expense and that hurts the most.
