"President of the TRNC" - Washington Times

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

"democracy" and "freedom",should not used so cheaply, who is this bastard Talat trying to fool?

Where are the democratic rights of the ethnically cleansed Greek Cypriot refugees? Where is their freedom to exist in ancestral lands.

I shit on Talat( with peanuts and corn in it).

As I again extend my hand in peace and friendship to the Greek Cypriots, I call on the international community to heed our call for justice and fairness. President Bush's Inaugural address, in its pledge to spread freedom and democracy "to the darkest corners of the world," inspires all believers in these universal values.
With U.S. leadership and concerted international efforts, Cyprus can become a beacon of peace and freedom in the Eastern Mediterranean, the Middle East and beyond.

lol Justice and Fairness...what about the justice of the peoples who's house you stole and cheaply selling to tourists, while pledging for a Cyprus settlement still.

What about giving the reasons WHY Greek Cypriots voted 'no'?

and lastly, if Mr Bush's values of 'freedom and democracy' inspire you, then there is no way I want this muppet as any vice-president of the RoC.

How can any TC condem Papadopolous, then so blindly back Talat who has his tongue so for up the most evil person in the world right now...George Bush.

...and before you say it's diplomacy, there is diplomacy and there is selling out.

Maybe they went to the same place TC democratic rights went to in the period 63-74? Maybe they went to the same place that my uncles right to live went, or his familys right to see justice done on his killers went? Who knows.

And if George Bush was supporting the immediate and unconditional withdrawal of Turkish troops from Cyprus and a status of political minority for the TC community in Cyprus, then where exactly do you imagine TP's tounge would be? I suspect if this were GB position both your and YP's tounge would be in a very similar location to where you imagiune Talat's is - selling out not withstanding.

Erolz, if the GC admin wanted more support from the US, they could have done so. They could have outrightly supported George Bush's spreading of 'Freedom and Democracy' (aparently two new words for corruption and murder) during the Iraq war...but they didnt. They could also play into the hands of the New World Order and back the Israeli occupation of Palestine...but they haven't.

No ifs or buts...Cyprus support is obviously very coverted by the US, with it's strategic locality. The RoC could very easily win over the support of the US by licking ass and selling out...but they have not.

I wonder how many Turkish Cypriots or Turks agree with talats views that George Bush is spreading 'freedom and democracy?

Do you think Talat means what he says or is he that desparte to win over the United States?

Although I disagree about many issues with GC in this forum,

I should say that Talat exagerated his "nice" feelings about Bush.
