I would never make private mail public.

Btw people... remember Lupus diavoli?, Milliotis, Chapfallen, etc…

Sorry I didn't realise you meant private mail. No don't do that! ... I thought you meant he sent you information specifically to put on the forum as evidence ... you know to help your lost cause.

So we are back to what I originally said ... GreekForumer could put you in your place (if he had forum time).

I think that this debate is about "the shadow of a donkey" meaning that it is all about nothing. I have nothing better to do, so I will indulge, too.

I do not deny my greekness, but unlike the epsilons et al of this forum, I am not proud of it. I do not give a penny's thought if I am a direct decendent of Socrates or not. What I see in the Greek nationalists (and all nationalists I suppose) is an interest only in the wrapping but never in the content of the box. Spiritually we have made only vague efforts to show any sort of continuity with the classical Greeks.

On the contrary, any such continuity with the glorius ancestors is better observed with foreign Hellenists such as the Swiss Hellenist Bertrand Bouvier who will be at the University of Cyprus on 26 November to recieve his honorary PhD at the School of Phylosophy.

AlexISS, that was a typo error on my part. It took me time to realise my mistake.

I would not jeopardise your ONE good relationship with a Greek for all the tea in China

I merely called your bluff, since you omitted to include GreekForumer (tres formidable 8) ) in the line up of Greeks that you were calling to discredit Piratis on your behalf.

I'm not, I posted lots of things to prove what Piratis wrote is true but you've ignored it.

I specifically said Greeks not Greek-wannabies whose family originate from Yialoussa...
