False flag operations, 1958-1963

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Turks do not talk negatively about Turkey. And neither do you!

I think you have proved it for me .... Samarkeolog ... you are a Turk ... anything you say, have said, has to be judged as coming from that point of view ... not that it is a crime ... but the fact you tried to hide this is indicative of the deception you wish to weave.

You are henceforth discredited as either non-partisan or non-aligned.

You are a Turk or Turk sympathiser ... and of the worst kind. One who hides behind words.

Shame on you for pretending you are also a scholar.

The onus is in your viva and the intelligence of your external examiner, if you are truly preparing a thesis  ... to see you for the damaging person you are.

I don't like to ask personal information of others on the forum, but since you try so hard to appear earnest in your approach, perhaps you would not mind telling me how you can put your Turkish ascendancy behind you ....

Maybe you can admit enough, to tell us from where in Turkey your ancestors hailed?

Oracle, you truly are a legend.

And, like so many legends, you're entertaining for a while, then so ridiculous it's boring.

My dad's from south-east England, and his parents' families from London and Newcastle; my mum's from north-east England, and her family too.

I guess if you went back far enough, I might have some Scottish blood in me from my mum's mum's... blablabla's side! Would that help you? No...

If you went back really far, I might have some Norman (from my dad's side) and some Norse (from my mum's side) in me.

Still no good... I guess you'll just have to accept that I'm tam İngiliz... You caught me! Okay, it's true, it's true, I admit it... I'm Agglos Agglos, nai, aly8eia, Agglos Agglos Agglos. God, I can't even pretend to be Turkish well...

If I were a Turk, would I have talked about the deep state and the false flag operations and the destruction of Greek Cypriot homes and churches and the trade in Greek Cypriot icons and other Orthodox Christian art and and and and...? I don't know if it's difficult for you to understand someone who isn't bigoted and deceitful, or if it's difficult for you to believe someone can be non-partisan and earnest, but either way, it's not my problem. I guess we can all be reassured that you're making no effort at all even to appear non-partisan or earnest!

Hhhmmm

Methinks, thou doth protest too much! :?

So, if you accuse me of misleading or lying to people, then ask me a question, and I give a detailed answer to it, I'm protesting too much...?

Can you explain the use of arkeolog in your nick ... it does ring of Turk!

I can't explain everything that goes on in your head, but I can explain that. Arkeolog is not only the word for archaeologist in Turkish. It is the word, or the root of the word, for archaeologist in every language I've heard the word said. Why? Because the Hellenophile early archaeologists created the name for their discipline from ancient Greek, and everyone else copied it. (Apparently, in Hungarian, it's régészet.) Indeed, it is the beginning of all the words in its family in Greek - archaeology, h arxaiologia, archaeologist, o arxaiologos... And, if you must know which languages I chose it from and for, they were Albanian and Serbo-Croat, not Greek or Turkish. I created the nick and address for myself for the pilot study for my work in Kosovo, where all communities use the word arkeolog.

Besides, those who think they are the most impartial, are the ones to watch out for .... (limited reasoning).

Best to proclaim which side you are speaking from, and let others judge; rather then pretend through ignorance, or intent to deceive, that you are impartial ... when all your work suggests the most bizarre pro-Turkish leanings I have had the displeasure to examine for a goodly while ...

I don't know how to make this any simpler. I do not have a(n ethnic) side in this conflict. If I have any "side", it is for human rights, feminism. I side with the victims - Greek Cypriot, Turkish Cypriot, Maronite, Armenian and Latin Cypriot.

I know you've read what I've said. We've even discussed it before. I can only assume you have a crippling form of amnesia. Either that, or one of my friends is paying you to say stupid things to piss me off, so I spend all of my time correcting you and none of it doing my work.

As for my viva, as far as I know, at least one of my external examiners will be Greek or Greek Cypriot.

Why does it matter to you, what Nationality your examiners are?

You can say what you please, and I have criticised your points before; but just do not pretend you are non partisan or have avoided weighing condemnation towards the GCs. Perhaps you feel you've tried to be balanced. I am criticising you for failing in that attempt. Accept it and improve your presentations; or be honest and admit it is a thesis setting out to find fault with the GCs .... which is how I see your work so far.

It was evident to me from your first post, and what you do not tackle in your responses, says much also; that is all.

I do not wish to labour on this issue. Feel free to continue upon your crusade. But an honestly unbiased evaluation, is not something you can claim. :)
